wow!

Well back again, what seems like for ages, about six weeks but what who is reading this anyway? “Answers on a postcard too”

So what have I learned over the past 5 or 6 weeks, well I suppose it is that you have to bring a different mindset to this Internet marketing malarkey, and that you have to treat an online business just as you would an offline business!

Too many people out there (me included) think because it is online that some how different rules apply! Well I got news for you people…they don’t!

Now having had my own offline business in the past, I know that in the past I had to learn new things (new skills) to go with the skills that I already had
so I could do a days work in my workshop ( I was and still am I suppose an upholsterer) but just being able to do the upholstery wasn’t enough as I had to learn about Advertising, selling, accounts, French polishing, how to sew
how to price a job up etc etc you get the picture right.

But the point is I learned all these extra skills in order to run my business. Which is no different
online as you have to learn and master new skills just the same as you do offline but for some reason this seems alien to most people who think all you have to is to pay $47.00 and that’s it sit on a beach , check you stats every hour or so and your done, Vagas here I come!!!

Well let me give you some advice from someone who has been around online now for over a year Keep your money in your bank ,stop buying the latest gimmick software that promises you riches.

I also want to put a thought in your head and that is this

“why would it be logical that a product that can bring in an income of thousands and thousands of Dollars per WEEK! cost ONLY $27 or $47 or $97.00

Think about it, I mean if you owned such a product that can generate thousands every week then would you only charge $27.00 so other people could do the same! ”

Have you ever seen an advert “offline” that you can buy that will give you these return’s NO! so why do you believe the online ones? Think about it .

Well here I am again back on the Blog, to which I haven’t posted on for what seems
Like ages

The reason for why is that I had to leave the John Thornhill’s Master class due to unforeseen circumstances! (I would highly recommend anyone to John Thornhill’s teachings) However, in life there are always unforeseen circumstances that usually involve Money! or the lack of it right!
This reminds me of a Saying from a Millionaire I once new and it goes
“If you ever come up against a problem then simply beat it to death with a bag of money”

Now when you think of it Most problems in our everyday life could be dealt with this way right! Providing you have a big enough bag of money!

Which is why I will not leave the online world of marketing, as I truly believe that a healthy income can be achieved online

Therefore, to anyone reading this I just say, “you just have to keep on keeping on”

Good morning or afternoon, who knows what time zone you maybe in,
Which I suppose this brings me to the point of this post, which is that in this business, it is always daytime somewhere right!

Which also means that there is always someone looking to buy products and services online? Why not from you? and why not online?

Now in the past I have ran a conventional offline business, which meant Premises, Insuring the premises! Heating them, paying rates on them, buying equipment and tools to do the work in them and all of this has to be done before you even get your first customer Oh not forgetting the travelling too and from them every day and night including Saturdays!

Now having been around the internet business world trying to figure things out it really seems a lot easier passage to start a business as all most people have to do is to make a coffee, take it upstairs to their office (usually a spare bedroom right!) switch on their PC or Mac which they probably already had ! Hook up to the net, which they already had, and almost invariably in their Jammies or dressing gown, as they have not had to travel anywhere! Oh, sorry they did have to walk from the Kitchen, all of 40 steps to the spare room!

Now you can see the attraction of wanting to start an online business as appose to an offline business especially when you get all the crap sent via email on how to make $39,247,49cents per month! Just out of interest, why don’t they just round it up or down? I mean do they really think that the punters think, “Oh its down to the last cent so that figure must be true”.

Hey, who knows they actually might. Another thing, if these products are just so brilliant (and you can earn more in a month than you do in a year) then why at the end of the sales letter are you bombarded with pigging bonuses? “As if $39,000 per month isn’t enough”

(Rant over!) Sorry I need more caffeine!

Like I said earlier I have been around all of this stuff trying to decipher everything and while the idea of working online really appeals and you can see why it does looking at the two scenarios above

In realty it is quite a hard nut to crack and you do have to learn (and keep learning) new skills and then apply them and put them into action. Now it is at this point where nearly all people fall down (97% don’t make it) as they don’t want to learn new skills and put the time and effort it takes to achieve online (especially if they already have a job) they just want the car, the boat , the holidays, etc which their shown on the sales pages! .

Well I have news for you people. That is just not how it is, and you just have to put the work in.
and like in all aspects of our lives, there’s Pro’s and Con’s to every thing we do

Hi Everyone

Today I want to talk about mindset. Now mindset dictates everything you ever do;
Now you might not believe that but it is so true, now to give you a simplistic view on
What I mean and to hopefully to get you to at least think about it.

Now answer me this, why is it that it is far easier to wake up and to get out of bed on a weekend as apposed to a Monday morning or to put it another way why do you always feel a lot more tired on a Monday than say a Saturday Morning?
Answer………………………………. your mindset! Or maybe another word is your Attitude (which to me is the one in the same)

Now you can think that a load of rubbish and that’s your opinion but that’s also your view because of your mindset!!! So go and figure that one out!

Another example is why when you work over say on a Saturday morning, does it feel different? It somehow feels lighter and your workmate are all in a better mood,
Well that’s your mindset (Attitude) and it’s because your working by choice, as you chose to go to work that morning (and not because you had to!) so your mindset / Attitude is in a different place! “Think about it” and you might have an “Aw yeh” moment!
Now if you are open to this kind of stuff and you haven’t had your brains sucked out by all the crap on T.V then maybe you will find this piece slightly interesting and if not then I suggest you go back to your thought stealing soaps! Now in my opinion that’s what soaps are there for, to numb your brain and to stop you thinking.

Another part of the whole mindset thing is goal setting of having something to aim at
This in itself creates a driver or a reason (if you like) to why you want to achieve something but more over by what time frame? Now you may want to have money, but ask yourself two things. 1: How much and 2: by when (as in by which month / year)
The reason is to give you focus or “A GOAL” or “A TARGET”

Imagine a football match with out goals??? Or an archer without a target to aim at, so just ask yourself, what would be the point?

Its like what I have done by joining John Thornhills Masterclass, I have given myself 2 years to become successful online (by the time I an 50 years old) using what I have learned and implemented via his teachings and my effort !
So what is my measure of success online? Well, it’s having enough income so if my wife chose to leave work, then she could, not that she would leave as she enjoys it,
But what I difference it would make to her MINDSET, if she was going because she wanted to, and not because she had to!

Good day to everyone,

Moreover, if you are a Chilean miner it’s a very good day right! Wow what an event that was watching all the miners coming up one by one, to me the event was akin to say a moon landing and just real emotional to watch especially when the children were waiting for their dad to come home, I defy anyone not to have a lump in their throat at some of the scene’s

Now to me its this kind of event that makes you think that how lucky are we, as all we have to do is turn on our PC’s (usually about 12 foot away from our bedroom) and type away to our blog, create a product, get people to our product, to then buy the product, and there you go an income

Now as we all know it’s easier said than done right! But maybe you should just think about what the miners have to endure the next time you’re struggling with your next blog post, as you drink your coffee in your nice bedroom / office!

Anyway Talking of making money online, well as yet I haven’t !!!!!!
But I am now on the product creation stage of J. Thornhill’s masterclass course
Which is week 8 and I have been having a look around the forum, which seems to have some genuine helpful people and as they are all ex students of previous course’s.
They have already walked the walk and are online and ready to help, which is just great to know.

Well this is quite a short post today as I want to crack on with this weeks course info and to learn a bit more about generating traffic for my product once its completed

Hi Guys

This post really comes from something that I touched on in an earlier post
and from a recent post from John Thornhill’s blog http://planetsmsblog.com/
as John states in his blog were not all stupid……or are we ?

Now I don’t mean the people who have been around the online marketing block
For say 6 to 12 months or more as there, probably savvy to the various marketing tricks.

But to those who are new to the game, why can’t this be true?

“This is you last chance before midnight then the price goes up”

Or……… “Be quick as we only have 8-7-6-5- Only 4 places left”

Etc Etc Etc, I’m sure we have all seen them, but the point is when your new to the game there’s no one there to tell you what the rules are, or to show you the pitfalls.

In fact if your anything like me, your probably going to spend your time just bouncing around from one place to another buying various courses (because that’s the one that will make you rich right!) Because in the beginning, “you just don’t know what you don’t know”

You have no idea what you should be learning and it’s not until you have been bounced around from one place to another (or from one course to another) that bit by bit you get to know who the good people online are.

Well if your new to the game let me save you a few months of time and give you my opinion to who the good guys are, as I have been around the game now about 10 months so I feel qualified to help

The above Names are people that I have come across over the past 10 months who I feel are good people, now are there some bad ones? Probably, but its not for me to point them out, and besides I may not like Vauxhall Cars, but it doesn’t mean they make bad cars! Its just that, there not my type.

This post halfway through kinda changed direction but I will try and tie it off now.
I guess what I am saying that the internet marketing world is no different to the real world as there are good and bad people in the world, and there are good and bad marketers online and that the people above are a few of the good guys

The point is do your due diligence on anyone that your going to hand your money over to! Just Google them do your background checks first, as I did before Joining John Thornhill’s Masterclass course

Hey Guys,

Well I don’t know about you, but I think my new graphics on my blog look’s the business.

I had the graphics made by a company called Planet divinity.com and I would highly recommend them to anyone as I am sure you will agree with me that this look’s really professional.

Once I had them downloaded to me, I simply followed the teachings form John Thornhill’s class to apply them. I must say this was a breeze, as his instructions were concise and to the point and very easy to follow.

Now I am still a bit behind with my course and my posts with one thing or another but hopefully from now I can crack on with the course and be able to post more updates of my progress. I believe that this weeks course info is all about adding various Ad types to my blog so hopefully when I start to get visitors,  I may start to earn  my first money online  (Wayhey!) How exciting will that be! Now I am not talking about enough money to buy a new Ferrari and a house overlooking the beach! ( I will leave all that money to the “buy my system and retire in a week brigade”)  No just initially enough to cover my course fee perhaps, or maybe to cover my Aweber account!

The point is that starting to earn your first Dollar / Pound online, is without doubt the hardest. So watch this space!

Well what can I say for why I have been away for so long, could it be that I have been away on a shopping break to say London or New York? well no to be frank, or maybe that I have been away somwhere exotic,  lying on a beach drinking Guinness  before the onset of out lovely British winter? …No again!

I’ll tell you what I have been up to I have spent most of my week cleaning up this blog because it had been infected with a virus / Malware ! But don’t worry you don’t have to leave so sudden, as the fact that you are able to read this is because it has now been given a full bill of health. But not before a lot of messing about and cleaning of files on my server and of my own P.C.

But now I’m back and allbeit a bit behind ! I am ready to crack on with  John Thornhill’s Masterclass Course But before I do I would like to give you a bit of advise as the reason for my grief this week  (with the malware / virus situation) was really my own fault as I had neglected my own personal P.C. Protection and as a note of warning do yourself a big favour and get yourself covered using the likes of AVG and Malwarebytes as these are both free “which is good” if you wish you can upgrade to the full programme, but just so you know if I would have had just the free version’s on my P.C. then I would of been allright! and I would of saved myself a whole lot of time and grief!  So take my advise and get yourself  covered.

Right back to business, this week I will be applying the new Graphics for my header and footer of my blog to give it a more professional look. Now I don’t have to do this  but I feel its a worthwhile investment as its only about £20.00, and I feel if my blog has a professional look to it then more people just may want to be around it, and then hopefully comeback to it also. Now these have to be ordered and then sent to me once produced, so once I have them I will be following John’s tuition on how to apply  them to this blog

Ok Guys thats it for today,  now I just have to go and back up this blog as its good practice to back up after every post as you never know RIGHT!
